Greggory held Lea's eye contact long enough to give a reassuring nod.
"Commanders Achaea and Lektar, you're with me." Standing up, he activated his combadge. "Lieutenant Murray, Lieutenant Idris, Officer Wryn, report to Deck 3." He headed for the turbolift, waiting for the other two on the bridge to join him. (OOC: Maverick crew, look for thread "Orbital Jumpstart")

Greggory looked over at Zaje. "Normally, I'd agree with you, but the Maverick has limited space, and this is primarily an engineering operation. Any external threats and the Vanguard is only a signal away. Anybody comes aboard, and myself and Commander Lektar are more than capable of handling close-quarters. Have your teams standing by for going planetside, or if something attacks the Vanguard."

Before standing, Raikon typed a quick message to Lt. Aden, asking him to take over his station on the bridge. Once he had confirmation, he rose from his chair and made his way over to join Commander Lektar and Commander Griffith at the turbolift.

A few moments after the part for the away team left the bridge, Lt. T'Lis arrived to take her place at the Ops console vacated by Shirik. She checked what was being done at the time and left a channel clear in case the shutle needed to contact them. |

Crys entered the bridge at this time to begin his duty. The lift opened, as he casually walked across the room to the station Lt. Tanner was at.
He gave a pleasant nod to the leutenant, silently relieving him of his position, as he was here ready to take over.
Crys was ready to get to the console, and look at the current mission log. He knew this was the day they began the rescue mission regarding the Kepler. He was anxious to get an update on what they found, so far. |

Lt. Tanner looked up when someone approached his station and his eyes widened a bit at the sight of the robotic-looking entity. He had known that the new Science Chief had come aboard but hadn't actually gotten a close look at him yet. He got up from his seat to let his new boss take over and pointed out the reading he'd been looking at. "The Kepler is here in orbit of the fourth planet," he said. "An away team has taken the Maverick shuttle over to see if they can tractor the Kepler into a more stable orbit and get power back to it. I'll be down in Science Lab 1 if I'm needed." He gave a tentative smile. "Good to meet you, sir." Then he headed for the turbolift. |
