Welcome to the USS Vanguard

It is the year 2388.

The Dominion War is over, Voyager has returned to the Alpha Quadrant, and Starfleet is getting back to the business of exploration.

The Vanguard is a newly commissioned Nova-class ship tasked with strengthening relations among the worlds in and around Federation space, and exploring new areas of space to find new allies.

Our overall mission is to go back to the basics of Starfleet... to explore, to go where no one has gone before, and to meet new life forms and new civilizations.

The Vanguard is a scientific exploration and diplomatic vessel. It's not equipped for or expected to go into combat situations often, but if need be it can handle itself.
