Background |
His upbringing on the far-off colony world of Jurisa exposed him to the idea that not everyone is as honourable as they should be, so when he signed up for Starfleet, he expressed a keen interest in joining the security forces, to do his part to secure the safety of those around him.

Personality Profile |
Kovar is a gruff Vulcan with a suspicious mind, the perfect match for the job of master-at-arms aboard a Starfleet starship. Despite his Vulcan heritage, he has taken on personality traits of those around him over the years. While stopping short of the stereotypical "drill instructor" personality type, he will often be seen about the ship, barking commands to restore law and order on the ship. His criminal interrogation techniques are harsh, though stopping short of violating regulations, but never for sadistic reasons: His purpose is to get to the crux of the matter and restore order. Despite this, he has a softer side that he sometimes lets slip, though rarely on duty. His origami designs have won multiple awards across the Federation.
